This a delicious little snack. Not only is it tasty, it’s also low in calories and rather filling. This works well as mid morning or mid afternoon snack. However, if you find your mornings busy and you never seem to have time to make breakfast, if you have about 2 minutes the night before to prepare this, you will have time for breakfast the following morning. Although I am using chocolate pudding and chocolate protein powder, you can definitely use vanilla pudding and a different flavor of protein powder if you so chose.
-1/4 cup of original unsweetened almond milk (unsweetened vanilla is fine as well)
-1 scoop of protein powder (I personally think it tastes amazing with BSN SYNTHA-6 Protein Powder – Chocolate Peanut Butter)
-1 pack of sugar free/reduced sugar chocolate pudding
1. Place 1/4 of unsweetened milk a scoop of protein powder in a blender (I personally prefer the Hamilton Beach 51101BA Personal Blender with Travel Lid) and blend for approximately 15-20 seconds.
After protein powder and almond milk is mixed, add in pack of pudding and blend again for another 15-20 seconds.
2. After mixture is thoroughly mixed, cover with wrap and place in the fridge overnight so the mixture can thicken.
-When buying a protein powder, make sure you read the label. Some protein powders are GARBAGE! The powder I am using for this recipe, Syntha-6, is higher in calories than the ones I typically recommend (Gold Standard 100% Whey or All Whey) but it’s still an excellent choice.
