Not only is this shake nutritious, it’s absolutely delicious! This shake is a great way to get a little extra protein into your diet and some antioxidants and fiber from the berries. This shake works well a pre/post workout shake. It can also be breakfast that you drink on your way to work in the morning.
-1 scoop of vanilla protein powder ( I prefer Allmax Nutrition Allwhey Vanilla )
-200 mls of original unsweetened almond milk (vanilla unsweetened milk is fine too)
-1/2 to 2/3 cup of mixed frozen berries.
1. Place almond milk, protein powder and berries in your blender. ( I use the Hamilton Beach 51101BA Personal Blender with Travel Lid, Black)
2. Blend for about 30-45 seconds, or until berries are liquefied.
-When buying frozen berries, berries should be the ONLY ingredients listed!
-When buying a vanilla protein powder, make sure you read the label. Some protein powders are GARBAGE! I one I am using in the above pic is only 120 calories, has 3 total grams of carbs with only 1 gram of sugar, and 25 grams on protein per scoop. ALWAYS opt for low sugar protein powders.
